Passion to Build
Gerald Mayfield is a part of a growing family and team at Habitat for Humanity Capital District. Gerald started volunteering with Habitat long before working on the “Morton’s Walk” Alexander St. work site. He began indulging himself with his passion to build by working with one of our affiliates back in his hometown Atlanta, GA.
Besides working as Plant Manager at Norampac in Schenectady Gerald, volunteers his time every other Saturday since last April to help build decent and affordable homes for the Albany community. As a strong believer in giving back to communities through volunteering, Gerald has raised $920 for the Women Build and Build-a-Thon Event this May.
Thank you Gerald, for supporting and volunteering at Habitat for Humanity Capital District .
