Going Camping!
Today marks the first day of Tent-a-Thon 2012! Campers will converge at Tawasentha Park to show their commitment to eliminating poverty and sub-standard housing by giving up the comforts of their home and sleeping in tents.
Each participant collects pledges from family, friends and co-workers for each night they will be tenting. All money raised for this event will help Habitat for Humanity build homes for hardworking families.
This fun-filled, family friendly event will be packed with food, music, games and entertainment. Who wouldn’t want to spend a summer night camping out for a good cause? Come join the excitement! It’s not too late to sign up at: http://www.capitaldistricthabitat.org/events/tent-a-thon/
